Urinary Urgency

Urinary urgency is the sudden and strong need to urinate that is difficult to control. It often comes on quickly and may be accompanied by discomfort or a fear of leakage if immediate action isn't taken. This symptom can be caused by various factors, including urinary tract infections, overactive bladder, bladder inflammation, or neurological conditions affecting bladder control. While occasional urgency can be normal, persistent or severe urgency may indicate an underlying condition that should be evaluated by a healthcare provider for appropriate diagnosis and treatment.
